Aurus Ear Care can assess and take impressions of your ears as well as advise on the product best suited to you and your lifestyle noise protection needs.
Prices vary depending on the level of protection required and so a consultation is necessary to build a bespoke quote.
Our Custom Noise Protection Plugs
All of our plugs can be customised to suit your needs and style preferences. Colours and accessories can be discussed with our Audiologist during your consultation.
ER Series
Noise Protection
ER9 - Recommended for use under light noise exposure - vocalists and acoustic guitar or strings players.
ER15 - Ideal for most musicians for use in medium levels of noise exposure.
ER25 - Recommended for heavy noise conditions such as heavily amplified musical instruments and use of construction equipment or heavy machinery.
ER Bang - Flattened attenuation for hunters, target shooters. These are a more affordable option to the digital defenders.
The ER type inserts can also be turned into earphones for those who have always had trouble keeping ear buds in place.

Water Barrier
Prevention of Common Water Related Ear Problems
Swimmer's ear is a common problem among regular water lovers and can cause unwanted itching and build-up of keratin (dead skin) sometimes leading to outer ear infections. These plugs are perfect for preventing these occurrences. Also suitable for those with perforated ear drums or gromets who have been advised by their ENT department to keep their ears dry when showering or bathing.
Surfer's ear is caused by exposure to cold wet and windy conditions so if you enjoy kayaking or paddleboarding on the beautiful River Wye these are right for you.
There's also the option to have filters if you still need to hear around you such as children in swimming lessons or the nature sounds whilst sailing down the river.

Design and Customisation
As well as taking the impressions of ears to be made into your noise or water protection devices, our Audiologist can help you to customise them by adding colours, glitter or even a picture to make them truly yours.
Our Excellence
We have full Professional Indemnity Insurance, and our Audiologist holds Accredited Microsuction Training Qualification.
We endeavour to clean the ears first time every time but where this is not possible for safety reasons, we will attempt again free of charge.
Upon diagnosis of any conditions requiring medical treatment, we will write to your GP explaining why we think you need treatment from them or an ENT specialist.
